REDMIX researcher Sara Zanotta will deliver a paper entitled “Mixed Belongings: The Iranian Diaspora in Egypt in the 19th and 20th Centuries” during the Conference on Global Iranian Diaspora Studies that will take place from 29 to 31 May 2026. The event represents one of the most important conferences in the field of Iranian Diaspora Studies and it is organised by the Elahé Omidyar Mir-Djalali Institute at the University of Toronto, in collaboration with the Center for Iranian Diaspora Studies, San Francisco State University and the Iranian & Persian Gulf Studies Program, Oklahoma State University.
