This is a venue for presenting various types of private writing produced during the colonial era. Through the research projects of the Department of Historical Studies at the University of Turin, we will explore how these documents functioned as conduits for knowledge, storytelling, and recollection, disclosing the viewpoints of those who encountered – in varying roles – the colonial encounter.
